玩假的

 

昨天花了15分鐘看完 Summary of Antifragile 這本書. [註]反脆弱(Antifragile)是由塔雷伯所著的趨勢類暢銷書.

在第7章 Antifragile at Other's Expense 裡提到了(紅箭頭處)...

Many folks' antifragility comes from other folks' expense, they reap the total advantages when they may be appropriate, but suffer not one consequence when they're incorrect. The thing is they can, thus, continue spewing their poor advice and the costs pass down onto others. It's not their cash they're trading or investing. They have no skin in the game. They don't have anything to lose.

意思是很多人的反脆弱性(定義 見下面[註1])是靠著犧牲別人的錢財而來, 如果以投資領域來舉例,  不少投資網紅在社群媒體上大膽預測股巿或某檔股票目標價上看多少等等的, 若事情的發展如他們所預言, 他們就會被吹捧為股神之類等級的人物進而享受到利益; 如果事情不是如他們所預測的發展, 他們也無需承受後果. 因為他們並沒有真正把錢投進去, 所以根本不會有損失.

倒數第二句(紅字) They have no skin in the game. 意思是他們並沒有把自己的錢投進去;沒有切身參與; 沒有切膚之痛; 或直白講, 他們根本是玩假的. 

have skin in the game的定義: bear financial risk by investing something.

[註1] 反脆弱是脆弱的相反; 反脆弱的意思是你用不良或負面的事情去影響它, 它不僅沒有被破壞, 反而變更強大, 更優異. 生活中很多事物都有這特性, 比如肌肉(你越練/越破壞, 它會越強), 又如最近徹底影響人類的新冠變種病毒.
